Northwestern Michigan Fair

Members of the Northwestern Michigan Fair along with friends and families of the Northern Michigan Livestock program invites you to be a part of a barn-raising project. With the increase of participation in our livestock programs, we are in need of a second beef barn for this years’ fair in August 2008. In the past we have used tents to handle the overflow but as we all know, this is not the answer nor is it the best for the animals.

To help raise money for our new beef barn, we have decided to offer you the opportunity to buy a rafter for the beef barn and in return your name will be printed on a plate and attached to the rafters in recognition for your generous support towards a great community project. Each of the 51 rafters needed are being offered at $155.00 and can be purchased by anyone, whether an individual, family, club, business/organization, or in memory of a loved one. We are also offering that with the donation of $1000.00 or more your name or name of your business/organization will be posted on the front of the new beef barn.
